Single records:

1. Mark the item you want to export.
2. Click on Citation tools in the Tools box.
3. Choose the citation style you wish to use.
4. Choose RefWorks in the Export to third party software option.
5. Click Export.
6. If RefWorks doesn’t automatically open, click on the RefWorks link in the popup window.
7. Login to RefWorks. Your records should appear in the Last Imported Folder.
8. PLEASE NOTE: You may need to change the Source Type of your RefWorks record from Print to Electronic for resources you access in fulltext online through a Gale database.

Multiple records:

1. Mark the items you want to export.

3. Click on Citation tools in the Tools box.
4. Choose the citation style you wish to use.
5. Choose RefWorks in the Export to third party software option.
6. Click Export.
7. If RefWorks doesn’t automatically open, click on the RefWorks link in the popup window.
8. Login to RefWorks. Your records should appear in the Last Imported Folder.
